Swindon have signed Millwall centre-back Andy Frampton on loan.

The 31-year-old has put pen to paper on a one-month deal at the County Ground and is expected to go straight into Town`s squad for Saturday`s trip to Yeovil.

Frampton, who played against the Robins in the League One play-off final in May, has struggled for regular first-team football with the Lions this season and had a spell at Leyton Orient last month which was ended prematurely by an ankle injury.

His arrival provides competition for Scott Cuthbert, Sean Morrison and Lescinel Jean-Francois at the heart of defence.
