Gills365 boardster Truebluejock arranged for his 7-year-old son to be the Gills' mascot for the day.
“TBJ Jnr” was especially excited at the prospect of meeting the team and he wasn't disappointed. He joined in with the warm up and took some penalties against Dean Brill. The travelling fans seemed impressed as “Jnr” thumped four past Brill, which prompted a chorus of “sign him up, sign him up” from the stands.
As the team came out for the game, he clapped the Gills fans like a true pro. He had a wonderful day and was well looked after by Ronnie and the boys.
Truebluejock was keen to express his thanks to both clubs for their excellent assistance in arranging Jnr's day out.
The youngster has some special memories of his big day along with some photos of him with his Gills heroes.
