Cooper: First match at Priestfield
Gills fans will get the first chance to see Neale Cooper take his seat in the Gills dugout - and will get the opportunity to join the Gills gaffer in running the rule over his new-look side.

With only one week between the Barnet fixture and the opening day of the season, expect to see Cooper field the majority of his first team as he looks to finalise his starting lineup for the new season.

New signings Danny Jackman and Tony Bullock look set to play a part, and Tommy Williams will also be hoping his ankle knock has recovered enough for him to get a full runout. Up front Darren Byfield will be hoping to continue his good goalscoring form in pre-season with another goal or two.

The club are housing the home fans in the lower tier of the Medway Stand, and may open up other areas of the ground if necessary. Tickets cost £10 for adults, £8 for OAPs and £5 for juniors. The match kicks off at 3pm.
