Brown: Frustrated
A firm favourite with the Gills fans, Brown played the full 90 minutes against Northampton Town in the Carling Cup, but has yet to make a league appearance this season.

Talking to his official website, Jason said that he felt he'd done enough in preseason to justify a place in the Gillingham first team this season.

Following his performance against Northampton, Brown felt he would be able to keep his place in the side for the following league game, but boss Andy Hessenthaler reinstated Steve Banks to the role, leaving Brown shocked to find himself on the subs' bench once again.

Brown is clearly frustrated at his lack of first team opportunities so far this season - and while he said he will work hard to fight for his place, he clearly believes he is capable of playing at a high level in the game.

With Steve Banks currently the club's number one goalkeeper, it remains to be seen if Jason Brown will get his opportunity at Priestfield this season.
