Flynn: led by example

Flynn, making his first start since being appointed team captain at Priestfield, put on a superb performance in the centre of the Gills' midfield - and was a constant driving force throughout the match.

The Gills won the match 2-1, but the FootbalI League's selection of Flynn will give the Gills skipper added satisfaction for a job well done.

Here's hoping we see plenty more Gills players in the FootbalI League's Team of the Week in the weeks and months to come.
