Cooper: Daris is 'very much part of my plans'

Talking to the official website, Cooper said, "Darius handed me his transfer request this morning.

"I'm very disappointed because Darius has impressed me in training, he's a nice lad; committed, keen to learn and is very much a part of my plans for this season.

"Darius is a decent player and that's why the Club signed him on a long-term contract.

"He's an asset and it would take a very big offer before we would consider letting him go.

"I have a small squad of players at the moment and I can't afford to lose one. Darius has two-years left on his contract, so as far as I'm concerned he is going nowhere."
