Cooper Resigns
GFC wishes to announce that manager Neale Cooper has tendered his resignation with immediate effect and has left the Club.
Neale felt that recent results were unacceptable and out of respect for the Club felt it was appropriate to step down.
Chairman Paul Scally accepted Neale's resignation with deep regret and a heavy heart. Stating: "Neale has been a credit to his profession and to this Club.
"It has been a pleasure working with him and I am distressed at his departure. One or two people need to take a hard look at themselves at this Club, as there is no doubt that Neale was let down in certain areas.
"I wish Neale every success in the future."
Ronnie Jepson will take control of the team until further notice.
We at Gills365 echo the chairman's statement wishing Neale all the best.
