Crofts to play at Vale

It was initially thought Crofts would miss the match at Vale Park after being called up for Wales' international friendly against Luxembourg this coming Wednesday.

But arrangements have been agreed to allow Crofts to join up with the Wales squad after the Port Vale game, meaning manager Mark Stimson can include his skipper in the lineup for the crucial match.

Talking to the KM, Stimson said: "Hopefully he can get us what we want in the next few days, enjoy himself with Wales on Wednesday and come back on Thursday."
