Henderson: Red card rescinded
The match saw Gills striker Darius Henderson and Leeds fullback Michael Gray sent off by referee Mark Cowburn after a touchline scuffle, only for the FA to overturn Henderson's red card the following week.

Following the match, the FA charged both clubs with failing to control their players (under FA Rule 22a) as a result of the scuffle that occurred during the match.

The FA hearing saw PFA representative Mick McGuire and league referee Eddie Wolstenholme give their representations to the hearing. McGuire spoke on behalf of the club, while Wolstenholme, who was at the match, stated that the Gillingham bench had been impeccably behaved during the match. Match referee Mark Cowburn also stated that he had no complaints about the Gillingham players or management.

The FA decided to throw the case out, leaving the Gills with no punishment or warnings to face in the days and weeks ahead.
