Flynn: Priestfield offer not good enough
Flynn, who hit 12 goals from midfield for the Gills last season, is reportedly unhappy with the contract offered to him by the club, saying: "They could have shown me they wanted to keep me a little bit more."

But with the club looking to balance the books while building a stronger squad for the coming season, Chairman Paul Scally insisted Flynn wasn't going to get a better offer from Gillingham.

"We've made him a very good offer but he's turned it down," Scally told the Kent Messenger.

"We're not here as a convenience for people."
