Flynn: back in the Championship with Blackpool
The former Wigan midfielder turned down Gillingham's contract offer, stating: "They could have shown me they wanted to keep me a little bit more."

Gills refused to up their offer, however, with chairman Paul Scally saying:
"We've made him a very good offer but he's turned it down. We're not here as a convenience for people."

Flynn subsequently left Priestfield and signed a two-year contract with the Tangerines.

"He has signed for Blackpool and is very happy," his agent Tony Finnigan told Sky Sports.

"He is looking forward to helping Blackpool establish themselves in the Championship."

Flynn made 98 starts for the Gills, scoring 21 goals.
