Nervous Gills at the City Ground on Sunday

Forest sent a letter to Gillingham, stating, ""I would like to say that your supporters are a credit to your Club.

"It was a roller coaster ride with things constantly changing, but your fans were always very well behaved."

Gillingham took over 4,200 fans to the City Ground for the final game of the season, which was the second-largest visiting support at the Forest this season. The fans endured a rollercoaster of emotions as they were eventually relegated, but for Forest to send such a message to the club is something that every one of the fans who went that day should be justly proud of.

The Gills official website said "Emotions ran high throughout the day but you - the Gillingham supporter - behaved impeccably and were a credit to the FootbaIl Club. Thank you."
