Gillingham manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent:
"We're facing a really really good side with some outstanding players, but on our day we have [outstanding players] as well.
"Hopefully we turn up like we know we can, put a performance on and get one of those surprise results that are coming out every week in this division.
"The best way to stop Leeds is keep attacking them, keep the ball down their end. But they're also very dangerous on the break."
Leeds United boss Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Leeds:
"It's an important game for both teams. They have an excellent home record and will want to prove that against us.
"The crowd are really on top of you there and I'm sure it will be a cracking atmosphere.
"We know what to expect from them, and regardless whether they have any injury problems it will be very tough for us, but we know we can win.
"If we play like we have been playing and show the professional attitude we have for most of the season we can win. We know we can't afford to slip at all from now till the end of the season."
