Gills agree Hamilton release

Hamilton made a number of appearances in pre-season and was expected to feature under Ronnie Jepson, but following the former manager's departure, the 19-year-old failed to break into Mark Stimson's first team squad, making just three league starts this season, with his final appearance coming in Gillingham's 4-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge in the Johnstone's Paints Trophy back in November.

Hamilton made a total of six appearances for the Gills, four of them starts.
