Of course, the delay starts the speculation again. Has our first choice manager turned the job down? Is he stalling on the contract in an attempt to get the best possible offer? Are the club simply not sure who to appoint? Are there additional sticking points which make appointing a new manager difficult?
Regardless, the club will not be announcing the identity of our new manager today. We'll bring you the news on our new gaffer as soon as we get it.
