Chorley: staying a Gill until the end of the season
The former Arsenal reserves skipper, on-loan from MK Dons, has impressed Gills fans since his arrival at the club, and many fans have suggested that the newcomer to the Gills defence is the best centre half currently at Priestfield.

Clearly Ronnie Jepson has been suitably impressed, as the Gills boss has moved to keep Chorley at Priestfield until the end of the season.

"Chores" has made ten appearances for the Gills since his loan move, starting eight times and making two appearances from the subs' bench, helping the Gills to five wins in the process. He also scored the winner at Prenton Park as the Gills recorded an historic away win at Tranmere just before Christmas.

Fans will no doubt welcome the news that Chorley is staying on until the end of the season - and hope that he can become the defensive rock that the club so desperately needs as the club prepares for the end-of-season run-in.
