Swansea City stand between Gillingham and a third consecutive win

After an inconsistent start to the season, Gillingham have regrouped superbly and picked up two hard-earned wins in the space of four days, following up their win at Doncaster with a home victory over Millwall.

Gills boss Ronnie Jepson was forced to shuffle the pack on Tuesday night, with Leon Johnson and Clint Easton coming in to replace the injured Brent Sancho and the suspended Danny Jackman - and both players put in superb performances.

Andy Crofts and Michael Flynn dovetailed well in midfield, while the front pair of Gary Mulligan and Guylain Ndumbu-Nsungu never stopped harrying and hassling the Millwall back four.

The gaffer will assess the squad as he prepares for his side's third game in seven days as they take on an in-form Swansea side.

The Swans produced a very good performance to beat the previously-unbeaten Brentford at Griffin Park, thanks to pint-sized striker Leon Knight. The man who helped knock the Bees out of the League One playoffs last year proved a thorn in Brentford's side once again, netting a brace to push the Swans up to fourth in League One.

But Gillingham have picked up significantly from recent matches - and after doing the double over the Swans last season, they'll be confident of a home win against a strong Swansea side.

It promises to be a cracker of a game, with both teams looking to make early headway in League One, so make sure you're there to roar the boys on, hopefully to a third win in a row.
