Gerrard: latest 'keeper signing?

Ronnie Jepson has just one senior full-time goalkeeper on his books, in the form of Kelvin Jack, and with the Trinidad & Tobago international suffering an early-season injury, he has had to plug the gap with loan signings Darren Randolph and Scott Flinders.

But with Gerrard currently a free agent after being released by Nottingham Forest, it is thought that Jepson could be making a move for the former England under 21 stopper, who has had Premiership experience with Olham Athletic and Everton.

Gerrard was surprisingly not picked up during the transfer window - and his situation was reported in a full-page article in The League Paper this weekend, so this story could have been prompted by that, but we'll wait and let you know if Jepson makes his fourth goalkeeping signing of the season.
