Gills prepare to unveil Facey

Our sister site, MillersMAD, reports that Facey has activated a clause in his contract allowing him to leave Millmoor if Rotherham are relegated - and subsequent talks with Gillingham have been successful.

Reports in the Rotherham Star suggest former Bolton striker Facey has already agreed terms and will be unveiled as a Gillingham player this week.

With Simon King the only new arrival announced by the club thus far, more announcements on signings are surely just around the corner, and with Craig Armstrong and Delroy Facey reportedly agreeing deals with the Gills in the past fortnight, the Gills' rebuilding process appears to be in full swing.
