Gills set to add Mac to attack?

The former Gravesend & Northfleet striker joined the Shrimpers last summer, but struggled to break into the starting lineup at Roots Hall and is now considered surplus to requirements by manager Steve Tilson.

Gillingham were reported to have been one of the clubs interested in MacDonald, and with Gills manager Mark Stimson looking to bolster his attacking options ahead of the new season, Gillingham may well be in for the 27-year-old striker.
