Flinders: talented stopper signs on loan
Flinders arrives on a one-month loan deal and goes straight into the Gills squad for this weekend's match with Doncaster Rovers at Belle Vue.

Talking to the official website about his new signing, Gills manager Ronnie Jepson said, "Scott will come in today and it's thanks to Peter Taylor, I can't thank him and Crystal Palace enough because obviously I'm in need of a 'keeper. He's of the highest quality, and thought of very highly at Palace, so hopefully he'll be another good addition to our squad."

The Palace youngster, who joined the Eagles from Barnsley in the summer, has been an England under 20 international - and was also selected in the Football League's squad to take on the Italian League last season.

It is hoped the new arrival will fill the void currently left by the injured Kelvin Jack and fellow loanee Darren Randolph, who reportedly picked up an injury in training this week.

We wish Scott all the best during his spell with the Gills.
