Hislop: Failed to impress at Priestfield

Hislop has failed to settle at Gillingham following his move from Inverness Caledonian Thistle earlier in the season, and he has barely featured under current Gills boss Ronnie Jepson.

A statement from the club's official website says that Hislop will undergo a medical at Livingston this morning.

It will be interesting to see if the transfer does go through, as it was reported that Hislop joined Gillingham despite failing TWO medicals at Priestfield.

Even though the only activity so far has been players leaving, Gills boss Ronnie Jepson is hopeful of bringing in a signing or two in the near future.

Talking to the official website, Jepson said ""We've had a few knock-backs on players over the last couple of days, which happens. But the squad that we have at this moment in time is doing well.

"People may come in as people leave but you'll have to watch this space on that one."
