"I like training to be competitive - obviously not kicking each other but we like training to be at a high tempo and both of those players do that.
"Barry's just gone in for a tackle and Chris has gone in and he's opened his knee up in a block tackle."

Hessenthaler continued: "It's just one of those things - I spoke to Chris and he's feeling a lot better but I think it will be a couple of weeks.
"It's a blow because he's been one of our most consistent players this season and we'll miss his quality with the football.

Meanwhile, three players could make their comebacks from injury for Gillingham on Saturday.
Simon King, who has not played for 18 months, Andy Barcham, who last played in September, and Dennis Oli, whose last league game was six weeks ago, are all in the squad to travel to Macclesfield.
