Iwan: Charged by FA
In the book, Iwan admitted he deliberately stamped on Kevin Muscat during a Division One fixture between Norwich City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. Iwan wrote that the incident was his retaliation for a bad tackle by Muscat on Roberts’ strike partner of the time, Craig Bellamy.

Despite his comments that ‘common sense should prevail’ regarding the situation, the Football Association has charged the Gills player-coach with bringing the game into disrepute by committing serious foul play, plus the verdict that Iwan was ‘motivated by revenge’.

The FA has set a deadline of September 13th for Iwan to respond to the charges set against him, but if found guilty, the striker may find himself hit with a heavy fine and a multi-game ban.
