Iwan: Loan move
Roberts, who started life at Priestfield as the club's number one striker, has slipped further down the pecking order under Stan Ternent and has spoken of his disappointment of how the season has gone for him at Priestfield.

In his attempts to see out his playing career before moving into coaching, Roberts has joined Cambridge on loan - and his experience and goalscoring ability should prove more than useful for them as they look to battle their way out of the relegation zone in League Two.

Cambridge boss Steve Thompson told the United official website, "I've told him he'll be very welcome here. He's a good pro, and he'll be good for the players and for the fans."

"We have to give ourselves the best chance of staying in the League."

Roberts will join up with former Norwich teammate Rob Newman, who is currently assistant manager at the U's.
