Jackman: set for new Gills deal
Jackman, who scored Gillingham's Goal of the Season this year, was rumoured to be on his way out of Priestfield, but the popular defender has reportedly agreed to stay at Gillingham for the next two seasons.

The pint-sized former Chesterfield player has been a fan favourite since his arrival at the club two seasons ago - and his endeavour and commitment have made him one of the first names on many fans' team sheets.

Despite being one of the club's most committed and consistent performers this season, there had been stories of a bust-up with manager Ronnie Jepson - and rumours of his departure were rife as the season came to a close.

But thankfully those rumours appear to be unfounded with the announcement of his imminent contract signing. Hopefully everything will go as planned and Danny will remain a Gillingham player next season.
