Jepson: linked with Huddersfield job
Gills chairman Paul Scally today confirmed that Huddersfield Town have asked to speak to Jepson about the managerial vacancy at the Galpharm - and that he had said that he would allow talks to take place.

"Huddersfield called yesterday to ask if their chairman could talk to me. And of course I said yes," said Scally.

"Ronnie was always going to be linked because he's a bit of a legend after his time as a player there."

The Terriers sacked their previous manager Peter Jackson on Tuesday after a string of disappointing results that have all but ruled them out of promotion - and have turned their sights to Jepson, a hugely popular player during his playing days with the club.
