The 20-year-old keeper has played a major part in the club's good start to the season keeping three clean sheets and conceding only two goals in the Gills first five games.

Brown will travel to Wales immediately after Saturday's match at Leicester to take part in a four-day training camp. The squad will then travel to Finland next Wednesday before their game on Friday 6th September.

"I'm really looking forward to it," Brown told the club's official website.

"Playing for Wales is a privilege. It's an honour for me. Hopefully if I'm selected I will do well.

"One of my targets this season is to establish myself at international level. I don't think I'm setting my sights to high.

"Being selected is good enough for me. If I play it will be an added bonus."
