Mannerings NOT a Gill

Mannerings was on trial at the Gills, and sat on the bench for the Gills' recent friendly at Bromley, but did not play.

It was later reported by the Maidstone United website that Mannerings had signed a deal with the club, but a story is now breaking that suggests otherwise.

A quote, attributed to the club, says, "A report originating from a rival football club`s website claiming one of their players has been signed by Gillingham is totally inaccurate according to Gills manager Ronnie Jepson."
