McMahon, who formerly managed Swindon Town, Blackpool and Australian club Perth Glory, has recently been working overseas as a football pundit.

The club have yet to make an announcement, but it is expected that the new arrival will be unveiled some time this week, and is likely to take charge after this weekend's match at Swindon.
