Merry Christmas from Gills365

Last updated : 22 December 2006 By Headley
It's been a busy old year for me personally for a number of reasons, but it's been particularly enjoyable to see the site going from strength to strength in 2006, with the site getting busier as the season has progressed.

That's down to you guys paying the site regular visits and, more importantly, getting involved in what's going on with the site.

We've introduced a lot of new features to the site over the past year, and we'd like to say a big thanks to everyone who's contributed to the Gills365 Forums, Player Focus, the Gills365 League and the Gills365 Podcast. The Gills365 League in particular has proved a huge success - and the second half of the season kicks off just before New Year, so be sure to go to the Gills365 League board to check out what's happening.

In particular, I'd like to thank Townender, Markg, GTAT, Eccles, and Guffie for their contributions and input into the site over the last year. Your help and input has been invaluable and is much appreciated.

The forums have been superb, and it's always great to read comments from fans of other clubs who often comment on the site and the quality of the forums and the people who use it, so thanks to everyone for making the site what it is, and for making it an enjoyable one to run.

The site won't be totally neglected over the Christmas/New Year period, as we've got plenty of matches to keep us busy, but I'm likely to be away from my computer for the vast majority of the festive period - and quite rightly too.

But seeing as I had a little time, I thought I'd just put a little something on the homepage on behalf of myself and Grumpy to wish everyone who uses the site a very Merry Christmas and send all the best wishes for 2007.

Have a good one, and hopefully you'll continue to enjoy the site as we move into 2007.

Merry Christmas,

Headley and Grumpy

PS: It's the Grumpy one's birthday on the 23rd, so I suppose I'd better say happy birthday to him too. He's nearly 60 now, you know... :-)

I struggled to find a suitable Christmas picture, so this one of me freezing my chads off making a snowman will have to do...
