Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler has handed midfielder Danny Spiller a return to the club on a five-month deal after a successful trial.Spiller, 29, made his senior debut for Gillingham in 2001, going on to make 138 appearances and scoring six times.
He moved to Millwall on a free transfer in 2007 but a series of injuries prevented his progress at the New Den.
During the 2009/10 season, he had spells at Wycombe, Welling United and Dagenham & Redbridge.
