"It's been up and down but I think we've grown in confidence every week," Miller told BBC Radio Kent.
"It could have gone from bad to worse but I don't think that's going to happen this season, I'm more than positive about staying up."
He added: "We seem to have grown in every game recently.
"At the Valley we were 2-1 up and could have had our first away win. We didn't, but we worked hard and deserved the draw we got.
"At MK Dons we went behind twice and had a man sent off, but you can see the confidence the boys have got because a long time ago we might have crumbled and things might have gone the other way. Instead we came back twice to get a draw."
