Combative Miller already had nine yellow cards to his name - and is one booking shy of a two-match ban, his second ban of the season.

Talking to BBC Radio Kent, Miller explained that he needs to curb his temper if he's going to avoid missing crucial games in the Gills' relegation battle.

"It's something I'm going to have to address because I don't want to be suspended.

"The will to win is not going to stop, but verbally I'll have to quieten down a bit and tone myself down."

Meanwhile, Gills boss Mark Stimson has praised his player's desire and determination - and said he wants to see Miller's teammates step up to the plate and show similar commitment.

"It would be nice if other players took it on board and see what he's doing and actually got one or two yellow cards for putting themselves about."
