Whitley: classy midfield operator

Cyd Gray, a fullback, played a solid part for T&T during the World Cup, while Aurtis Whitley, a central midfielder, was one of the most impressive members of the Soca Warriors team.

Both players ply their trade in their home country, playing for San Juan Jabloteh. Their manager, former England midfielder Terry Fenwick, has stated that both players could be moving to English clubs in the near future.

Fenwick was quoted as saying, "I am getting a lot of interest in both (players) from English clubs and we are in discussions over transfers for both players."

Rumours among Soca Warriors fans  in Trinidad & Tobago have suggested that Gillingham are in discussions for both players.
