No more Moore at Millmoor

Rotherham boss Moore was the second longest-serving manager in the Championship, behind Dario Gradi, and was one of the most respected bosses in the division, having taken the Millers to two promotions and achieved Championship football on a shoestring budget.

Indeed, his abilities as a manager were courted by the likes of Ipswich Town in recent season, but such is the fickle nature of the game, he now finds himself without a job after a tough 8 months.

Rotherham's form this season has seen them rooted to the bottom of the Coca Cola Championship and they currently sit 12 points from safety, with only three wins in the league all season.

Talking to the press, Rotherham chairman Peter Ruchniewicz said, "We have agreed an amicable parting of the ways.

"We are all relieved that we have patched up our differences - it would have been awful to have parted on a sour note."

Ronnie is one of football's good guys and we at Gills365 wish him well.
