Nosworthy: Comeback delayed

The influential young defender was hoping to be fit in time for Gillingham's previous home game with QPR, but he failed the pre-match medical and also sat out the Burnley game on Bank Holiday Monday.

Nosworthy is currently recovering from a groin injury sustained in the early stages of the Leeds game. Medical staff have assessed Nyron's injury and expect it will take a further two weeks before he can make his return to first-team action.
