HOW IT WORKS
Each week I will start a new thread with that week's Championship Picks matchlist. All entries should be posted as replies to the original matchlist post.
At the end of that matchweek, I'll post the results, plus the updated high score table (in a new thread).
This process then starts again with the next week's matchlist.
SCORING SYSTEM
The scoring system for Championship Picks is dead simple.
+3pts for a correct result
+1pt for correct home goals
+1pt for correct away goals
BANKER! BANKER!
Each week you can assign ONE match as your 'banker', where you will receive DOUBLE POINTS for that match.
ANYONE'S A WINNER!
Unlike most other prediction leagues, which run a cumulative score, Championship Picks is based on high scores. The player with the best weekly score will win the Gills365 Championship Picks title.
This means it doesn't matter when you play, you can still win. It also means if you miss a week, you aren't out of the running.
HOW DO I START?
Simply go to the Gills365 Forums and click on the Championship Picks banner at the top of the page. Then check out the current week's matchlist and copy and paste the entire contents of the original post into a REPLY, filling in your username, predictions and your banker game as you go. Only posts in the same thread will count towards the Championship Picks high-score table.
