The singer had previously bemoaned her reported 'diva' status, saying it was scaring men off, but it seems she has found someone in Gills striker Byfield.
The R&B star, whose current single "See It In A Boy's Eyes" is riding high in the top 40, currently lives at home with her mum and her three-year-old daughter in the Wolverhampton area.
Byfield's move south from Sunderland has caused a distance in their relationship and it is unknown whether the star will move south to be with her boyfriend, who made his League debut for the Gills in their 2-1 defeat at Ipswich Town.
I'm sure Jamelia would be given a warm welcome down at Priestfield should she decide to pop down for Gills matches - and I'm sure all Gills fans would wish the pair all the best in their relationship.
One thing's for sure, Jamelia would easily top the list of celebrity Gills fans, which is currently headed by Food & Drink's Oz Clarke, GMTV's Kate Garraway and Sky Sports' Chief Football Reporter Nick Collins.
