The former Chelsea, Sheffield Wednesday and Oldham Athletic midfielder arrives to give Gills boss Mark Stimson additional options in midfield.

Craig, the cousin of late Arsenal and England midfielder David Rocastle, has struggled to settle since leaving Stamford Bridge and will see a move to Gillingham as a chance to re-establish himself in the game.

The 26-year-old has made just 77 starts in his career to date, and will be hoping to impress Gills boss Stimson to earn a permanent deal at Priestfield.
