Sancho: Hoping for a result against England
The Soca Warriors lived up to their name by producing a quite superb second half rearguard action to shut out the Swedes, who boasted one of the top strike partnerships at the World Cup. But Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Larsson couldn't find a way through the T&T defence, marshalled by Wrexham's Dennis Lawrence and Gillingham's very own Brent Sancho.

Sancho was universally praised for his performance against the Swedes, and took the Man of the Match honour from English radio station Talksport. He was rated as T&T's third-best player by the Sun newspaper, behind goalkeeper Shaka Hislop and midfielder Dwight Yorke, and was mentioned in dispatches by the likes of Clive Tyldesley, Gareth Southgate and Sam Allardyce.

But far from resting on their laurels, T&T and Sancho are looking at England - and they harbour hopes of an even bigger shock.

Talking to the press after the Sweden game, Sancho said, "No-one expected us to get a result against Sweden but we always believed in ourselves. Who knows what can happen now?

"Getting a draw against Sweden is the biggest moment in our footballing lives but hopefully it will get even better in this tournament."
