Stillie: set to add competition to the goalkeeping ranks?
Stillie, who played superbly between the sticks for Wigan against the Gills in the Playoff Final of 2000, has been a consistent performer, racking up more than 250 appearances during his career.

The former Aberdeen, Wigan, Dunfermline and Dundee United stalwart was released by United this summer and featured for Boston United in a recent friendly, but reports suggest the 33-year-old stopper is currently in talks with Gills manager Ronnie Jepson.

Gillingham currently only have one experienced goalkeeper on their books, in the form of Kelvin Jack - though they have also had former QPR keeper Simon Royce on trial over the summer following his successful loan spell last season.

Royce is expected to sign for the club in the coming days, and the potential arrival of Stillie would add much-needed cover and competition to the goalkeeping ranks.
