Talking to the Kent Messenger, Stimson said: "We've put a bid in for him. Like with Stuart Fleetwood, we're waiting for clubs to come back to us and say yes or no. At the moment they're just saying they want more money.
"We're not going to give any more. We have put our bid in and just want an answer from them.
"Either 'Yes they are going to let us talk to the player and discuss terms' or 'No, it's not enough, go away and try someone else'."
