But Stimson still wants to take a look at the former Crystal Palace man if Histon give him permission to play for the Gills' second string.
Stimson told KentOnline: "I've a good relationship with the Bishop's Stortford manager and he was willing to let him come in for our reserves.
"Since then he's moved up a level and so that might not interest him now. We'll see. We've got loads of reserve games coming up and we may speak to Histon."
