Tommy joins the Iron

Johnson, who made 22 starts for the Gills, scoring nine goals, was plagued by injuries during his time at the club - and eventually left the club for a player/coach role at Sheffield United. While at Bramall Lane he made just one appearance for the Blades before he secured his move to The Iron.
Gills fans will face TJ next season in League One - and our defenders will do well to remember the finishing quality of a player who received a bad press from a significant number of the Gills fans.
We wish Tommy all the best at his new club - and hope that he can stay injury free with Scunthorpe next season.
