Wallace doubtful for Hornets clash

A groin injury has restricted Wallace to only four starting appearances for the Gills since he arrived at Priestfield in the summer and after seemingly making a full recovery from that problem, he is now sidelined with a hamstring strain suffered in last week's 1-1 draw with Rotherham.

First-team coach Wayne Jones said: "It's responding to treatment and we are taking it from day to day, but there's a doubt about Rod for this game."

However, The Gills will have Tommy Johnson back for the game with Watford, he missed the clash with the Millers due to the birth of his daughter.
