Wallace to miss Ipswich clash

Wallace, who has started four games this season and completed just one, pulled up in training with a knot in his hamstring on Friday morning.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler said: “It’s obviously a big blow to all of us, particularly Rod who is desperate to get a run in the team and has been looking really sharp in training up to today.

“It’s also a blow to our preparations for tomorrow because all our set pieces had been worked out using Rod, so our plans have been hampered.”

The manager now seems likely to bring Tommy Johnson in to replace Wallace.
