Former Gillingham assistant boss Ian Hendon has said he will have no hesitation in sending West Ham players to Priestfield on loan this season.Hendon, who is the new development coach at Upton Park, says Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler has already checked out some of his new players.
He told BBC Radio Kent: "Andy brought a team over to West Ham for a closed doors game the other day."
He added: "I wouldn't hesitate in putting players Gillingham's way."
Hendon, 39, played for Tottenham, Barnet and Leyton Orient and had spells managing Barnet and Dover Athletic.
I know Gillingham are in good hands

His move from Dover to Gillingham caused considerable animosity as he was at Crabble for just 18 days before taking up the post at Priestfield.
But he credited his season-long spell with the Gills for reigniting his passion for the game.
He said: "I left Barnet on a bit of a sour note.
"I came to Gillingham, worked with Andy - who I not only respect as a manager but as a friend - and I've gone there and been revitalised.
"I look forward to training and matches now.
"Maybe at the end at Barnet I wasn't quite like that so I thank him for that.
"I had a great working relationship with Andy and Nicky Southall - who I'm sure is going to relish his opportunity and step up to the plate now I've gone.
"I know Gillingham are in good hands.
"It was a tough decision to make, but having spoken to a few people in the game - they said going to West Ham to be a coach at any level doesn't happen very often, so you have to take it.
"At the end of the day I made the decision for my development as well."
