Gillingham have to make do without Chris Dickson, who has returned to Charlton following the end of his second loan period.
Defenders Barry Fuller (nose), Simon King and Garry Richards (both ankle) are out.
Gillingham's goal difference means a point would be enough for Mark Stimson's men even if Tranmere, currently in 21st place but 17 goals worse off, win their game at Stockport.
Defeat for Gillingham would leave them waiting for the Edgeley Park result, as well as the outcomes of Exeter versus Huddersfield and Hartlepool's trip to Brentford.
Gillingham manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent: "It would be great if we can get our result on Saturday. It's what we set out to do at the start of the season - stay in this very good division. The boys are up for it, they've trained really well this week and now we can't wait for Saturday to come round.
"If you go back and look over the last few years, normally 50 or 51 points has been enough for safety but whatever it takes, it takes and we've got a great chance and we've got to take that chance.
"Wycombe will be tough because they're hurt from last week and they'll want to go out at home with fighting spirit. They play decent football under Gary Waddock - I know Gary from my non-league days when he was at Aldershot - and his teams do play and I'm sure they'll want to go out and put a performance on in front of their home supporters."
