Garry Richards may return in central defence after recovering from a bout of conjunctivitis, while midfielder Adam Miller is pushing for a start.

Gillingham manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent:

"I've had a good discussion [with chairman Paul Scally], an honest one between two honest people. We're both not happy with the performance against Tranmere.

"He's told me to do what I do, keep my head down and get on with it."
